Most Indian schools already have a public address (P.A.) system — an amplifier in the office and speakers in classrooms and corridors. A good automatic bell should work with that system rather than replace it. Here is what installation looks like.

What you need

  • Your existing P.A. amplifier and speakers (or, for RoboticBell Gong, your existing electric gong or siren)
  • A power socket near the amplifier
  • Wi-Fi at the amplifier location, for cloud programming and AI content (the bell still rings on time without it)

RoboticBell ships with the controller, power adapter, cables and mounting kit, so nothing else needs to be bought.

What happens on installation day

  1. Placement. The controller is mounted near the amplifier — on the wall for the Ultimate Wallmount, on a desk for the Ultimate.
  2. Audio connection. The controller's audio output is connected to an input on your amplifier, so bells, music and announcements play through your existing speakers.
  3. Network. The controller is connected to the school Wi-Fi.
  4. Your timetable. Periods, assembly, breaks and dismissal are programmed, along with the sound or announcement for each.
  5. Test and hand-over. Every bell is test-rung, volume is set, and staff are shown how to change the schedule from a phone or browser.

RoboticBell installation is included in the MRP and is carried out by our team or a local authorised franchisee. Support is available both on-site and remotely.

How to prepare

  • Check that the amplifier and all speakers work today — the bell can only be as good as the P.A. system it plays through.
  • Keep your current timetable handy, including exam-day and half-day timings.
  • Note the Wi-Fi name and password for the office.
  • If you have two sections with different timings, mention it — the Dual Zone feature on Ultimate models runs two timetables side by side.

After installation

Changing timings no longer needs a technician: staff update schedules from a web browser or the mobile app. If something needs attention, Ultimate models support remote troubleshooting, so many issues are fixed without a visit.
