This guide explains what actually drives the price, and what a school in India should expect to pay in 2026.
What decides the price
- What the device does. A basic controller that rings an existing gong at set times costs far less than a unit with a large display, voice announcements and cloud programming.
- What you already own. Most schools already have a public address (P.A.) amplifier and speakers, or an electric gong or siren. A system that works with them saves you buying new audio hardware.
- How many zones you need. Ringing the whole campus at once is simple. Separate timetables for different sections, or paging a single classroom, needs zone support or addressable speakers.
- Recurring costs. Some systems charge a monthly or yearly fee for cloud or content features. Always ask.

What should be included
- Installation — confirm whether it is included or charged separately, and whether travel is extra.
- Warranty — at least one year, and who actually visits if something fails. RoboticBell carries a 1-year warranty on all models.
- What is in the box — with RoboticBell you get the controller, power adapter, cables and mounting kit. Speakers and amplifier are not included because the system uses the ones you have.
- Support for schedule changes — can your staff change timings themselves, or does every change need a technician?
